CCBC librarians Merri Lindgren and Megan Schliesman will talk about great new (c2019) books for children and teens from birth through high school-age at the annual Rhinelander Children’s Book Fest
on Tuesday evening, March 10 (browsing starts at 4; presentation on books for K-12 from 6:30-8) and Wednesday, March 11 (registration and browsing starts at 8:30; presentation on books for birth – grade 12 from 9:30-noon). Merri and Megan will highlight books from CCBC Choices 2020
at this event sponsored by the Rhinelander District Library, Headwaters Reading Council, the School District of Rhinelander, Northern Waters Library Service and Wisconsin Valley Library Service. All of the Choices books will be available for hands-on book examination throughout the day, along with recently announced American Library Association children’s and young adult literature award winners and best-of-the-year list titles for youth.
