Book Sales

Twice a year, in the fall and spring, the Friends of the CCBC hold book sales. Gently used books withdrawn from the CCBC's Current Collection , and older titles that have been weeded from other CCBC collections, are sold. All proceeds support the work of the CCBC and related activities.

The next Friends of the CCBC Book Sale will be held on Saturday, Novembe 8, 2014,, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Room 401 Teacher Education Building (CCBC Conference Room), 225 N. Mills Street on the UW-Madison Campus (note new location!)

This will be a HUGE sale featuring hundreds of new and gently used children's and young adult books, as well as some older books. The sale will include hardcover trade, formula nonfiction, paperback reprints, and more.

Cash, checks, or institutional purchase orders (please bring tax exempt number) are welcome.

Where Is the CCBC Located?
