2022 Starred Reviews Hands-On Book Examination

Librarians and teachers are welcome to stop by the CCBC November 22 and November 23 for hand-on book examination of 2022 books we’ve received that have one or more stars in the following journals: Booklist, Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books, Horn Book, Kirkus, and School Library Journal. We will also have books selected to-date for CCBC Choices 2023 on display.
- November 22: 8:30 am – 7:00 pm
- November 23: 8:30 am – 4 pm
Please RSVP if you plan to come one or both days by contacting Assistant Director Megan Schliesman (schliesman@education.wisc.edu; 608-262-9503). Note: There are now about 30 people registered for Tuesday; we aren’t cutting registrtions off but do want everyone to know it will be crowded that day; we encourage you to consider Wednesday, 11/23, if it’s possible.
We will make our starred review pull list and Choices preliminary lists available the week prior to the event.
