Challenged Materials Chat and Great New Books for Children and Teens

CCBC librarians Megan Schliesman and Tessa Michaelson Schmidt will facilitate a conversation and q-and-a about challenged materials and intellectual freedom in the morning, and highlight selected books for children and teens from CCBC Choices 2023 during the afternoon, at a workshop sponsored by the Winding Rivers Library System, Southwest Library Systems and CESA #4 on Thursday, May 18, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at the Holmen Public Library.

All of the books in CCBC Choices 2023 will be available for hands-on book examination throughout the day. (CCBC Choices 2023 will be available as a digital publication in late February.)
