Rhinelander Children's Book Fest

CCBC librarians Merri Lindgren and Megan Schliesman will talk about great new (c2017) books for children and teens from birth through high school-age at the annual Rhinelander Children’s Book Fest on Tuesday evening, March 6 (browsing starts at 4; presentation on books for K-12 from 6:30-8) and Wednesday, March 7 (registration and browsing starts at 8:30; presentation on books for birth – grade 12 from 9:30-noon). Merri and Megan will highlight books from CCBC Choices 2018 at this event sponsored by the Rhinelander District Library, Headwaters Reading Council, the School District of Rhinelander, Northern Waters Library Service and Wisconsin Valley Library Service. All of the Choices books will be available for hands-on book examination throughout the day, along with recently announced American Library Association children’s and young adult literature award winners and best-of-the-year list titles for youth.

CCBC librarians Merri Lindgren and Megan Schliesman will talk about great new (c2017) books for children and teens at a workshop sponsored by CESA #4 and the Winding Rivers Library System on Wednesday, April 11, in West Salem. Merri and Megan will highlight books from CCBC Choices 2018, which will be available for hands-on book examination along with 2018 American Library Association award-winners and best-of-the-year list titles throughout the day.

This presentation will feature books included in CCBC Choices 2018, the most recent best-of-the-year list from the CCBC.
