How to Catch an Elephant
CCBC Review:
Uncle Jack knows exactly how to catch an elephant using three cakes, two raisins, one telescope, and lots of imagination. His determined young neice manages to follow his instructions exactly and, sure enough, is able to pop the elephant into her pocket by the book's end. Amy Schwartz first heard this clever story from her own father. Her boldly colored illustration leave plenty of room on the page for the humongous yellow elephant who STOMP!STOMP!STOMP!s his way through the book.
