My Friend Rabbit
CCBC Review:
Enthusiastic, well-meaning rabbit has a plan for getting mouse's toy airplane out of a tree in this visually enticing picture book with few words but a lot of action. Rabbit entails the help of one animal after another until there is a veritable tower of creatures balancing precariously, will small mouse at the very top trying to reach the plane. Rohmann uses the space across each two-page spread masterfully in this wholly appealing story in which a number of the engaging two-page spreads are wordless. ©2002 Cooperative Children's Book CenterIllustrated by Eric Rohmann
