CCBC-Net Archives Index

Below is a categorical listing of the monthly topics discussed on CCBC-Net, the CCBC’s facilitated discussion forum, from its inception in June, 1995 through the listserv’s end, in December, 2014. The month that each discussion took place appears in parentheses after the topic subject. (It may also be helpful to check the subsequent month in case the discussion carried over.)

The Authors and Illustrators category lists individual book creators who have been the topic of discussion. The Books category lists individual books that were the discussion topic, as well as books that the CCBC cited as examples in describing a theme, issue or genre discussion topic. The Book Awards category lists discussions of selected children’s literature awards that took place in the weeks after they were announced. The Genres, Issues and Themes category lists all other thematic and topical discussions we’ve had on CCBC-Net.

Individual authors, illustrators and book titles are listed below only if they were announced as part of the topic of discussion for a month. Dozens of book creators and many hundreds of titles have also been discussed on CCBC-Net in the course of our book award and genre-, theme-, and issue-oriented discussions over the years–those individuals and titles are not indexed below.
