CCBC librarians will highlight some of the books in CCBC Choices 2024, the most recent edition of the library’s best-of-the-year list, and offer training on preparing for and responding to book concerns and challenges at this workshop being held at the Superior Public Library and sponsored by the library systems in central and northwest Wisconsin: IFLS, Northern Waters, WVLS.
Tentative plans are for a “Great New Books for PreK-Grade 12” session Monday evening, May 13, and sessions on “Great New Books for Birth – Grade 12” and intellectual freedom training on Tuesday, May 14 16.
All of the books in CCBC Choices 2024, the newest edition of CCBC’s annual best-of-the-year list, will be available for hands-on book examination.
