The Cooperative Children’s Book Center (CCBC) has been a library for Wisconsin librarians and educators from its beginning in 1963. The CCBC was created as an examination, study, and research library for children’s and young adult literature. In this session at the Wisconsin Library Association Annual Conference, CCBC librarians Merri Lindgren and Megan Schliesman will showcase core services, such as book examination and book recommendations as well as intellectual freedom information and the CCBC diversity analysis and statistics. Whether in your role as a library director, collections manager, or youth services programmer, find out how the CCBC’s expertise in books for children and teens can inform, empower, and improve your services.
