Hilary Horder Hippely has won the 2025 Charlotte Zolotow Award for outstanding writing in a picture book for I Know How to Draw an Owl. The quiet, eloquent story follows Belle, who currently lives with her mother in their old blue car and draws comfort from the presence of an owl who perches nearby.
