Tessa Michaelson Schmidt will become the new director of the CCBC following the retirement of current director Kathleen T. Horning in July. A former CCBC librarian, Tessa is currently the assistant state superintendent for the Division for Libraries and Technology within the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
