Photographer Vicky Ceelen couples photos of human babies and animal babies in a captivating wordless board book. Ceelen cleverly pairs babies in similar poses—a teething toddler is matched with a toothy rabbit, and a sprawled-out sleeping newborn is positioned next to a toes-splayed and tummy-down toad. From tiny tongues poking out to little fingers covering mouths, the human and animal babes are shown as perfect complements of each other.
