Monthly Discussions
The CCBC holds monthly, in-person discussions of new books March through December each year. Discussion lists are typically available one month in advance of each discussion. The discussions are open to any interested adults. See our calendar of events for upcoming discussions.
CCBC Book Discussion Guidelines
CCBC-Net
For almost 20 years, the CCBC hosted CCBC-Net, a unique listserv that provided opportunities for facilitated discussions of contemporary children’s and young adult literature, including multicultural literature, translated books, outstanding and award-winning books, and various themes and topics in literature, as well as many specific books and the works of individual book creators.
CCBC-Net was an active discussion forum from June, 1995 – December, 2014.
